Honestly this was bound to happen. Majority of guys we had were at the very least AHL caliber players and Don said he was working on loans for everyone that he could.
Most of these guys are fringe NHL players and those aren’t really ones that teams are dying to add vs playing their own guys to develop.
Because the team had their rights assigning them to the ECHL for the majority of them (I believe it was mentioned guys on ELC can’t) they can be assigned their. If they choose not to show that’s on them.
Not their fault they are in this situation.
Send them all to Europe
