What happened to the Coyotes' arena situation? I haven't kept up with them, and everyone was saying that they're about to get relocated last I checked.

Some guy's just have terrible luck or are prone to injury. Norris is one of those guys. Sucks for him and the sens because when healthy he's a great player.

The Norris so called setback may just be a way to sign buy some time for Norris and also to sign Pinto. A couple of months of Norris' salary could be enough to sign Pinto for the season.

If Norris can’t take training without injury. He won’t be able to last the season. His career is all but over.
I personally like the idea of Vancouver taking Cal Foote off the waivers. 6'5" – Right Shot D, 800k Cap hit…. pushes us over but if they can make that work that could be an interesting development potentially for Vancouver.
Leon Gawanke is an interesting one. He left the Jets organization extremely frustrated with them for not giving him one chance. And looking at his numbers – I can't blame him. Same with Heinola. And Gawanke has put up good numbers in the AHL for 3 years, played at the World Championships in all said 3 years, won silver with Germany in 1 of said 3 years and yet the call-up never came.
At this point whenever a prospect I like gets drafted or traded to Winnipeg I'll just give up on him automatically. I'm surprised Laine did as well as he did there.

We are 10 or 12 years away from a 36 team NHL because Atlanta is getting team i don't think I'll be any later then 2028/2029 season before they begin play along with houston they'll get a expansion team salt Lake city and Quebec city by 2033/2034 season 36 teams 20 team playoffs love NHL expansion can't wait then longer term there is San Diego California that may soon build a 16,000 seat NHL arena and Sacramento California has already expressed a interest in wanting a nhl expansion franchise in the future so we can't rule out the possibility of 40 team nhl by 2040

If the Senators put Norris on LTIR and sign Pinto, they’ll still need to make a trade to free up cap space for what Norris is added back to the team, right?
at this point u pretty much assume norris is done.. sad to see but the guy isn't gonna be able to use his arms by the time he is 35 if he keeps going the way he is.
