I really wish I could sit down for a beer with one the people in this city who cover the Jets. I'd love to ask some questions that aren't being asked on these shows, or dig deeper into some of the issues. How would I do that?
I would be very hesitant on a Scheifele for Provorov deal. Provorov has list his game for the past 2 seasons. As bad as Scheifele is defensively, and possibly in the room, he can be an elite player if used in the right way and put in the right situations.
My proposal would be: Scheifele for Konectny + Sanheim. That would be more in line with true current value.
The only question remaining is how many games it takes before a jersey gets tossed on the ice.
