Big Z hit like 108'ish in skills, so like you said, 100 in a game is INTENSE. From what I've seen average is about 82-83 so this is beautiful!

Slapshots without a screen or tip in front are easy saves. The difference in the puck speed is negated by the slowness of the release. You can see it coming a mile away. A one timer however, those you can measure the speed of and have it mean something.

How amazing to remember seeing Al Macinnis hit 100 mph with a wooden stick back in the day. Montour is nice with it.

What surprises me is that pitchers often throw as fast if not faster than slap shots.
Most teams have a couple defenseman that can blast a 100mph when they skate into the puck like that.

Love Montour. I love how he always shoots. I was jumping when he unloaded that clapper and it said it was over 100. So glad you gave it some appreciation.
I love how, on the Montour shot, the defender took an "every man for their self" mindset and moved out of the way, once he saw how massive the backswing was.
