We have our next episode of NHL Trade Proposals in our midsts right here, with this next trade proposal coming with the Vancouver Canucks and the New York Islanders. In this trade proposal, the Vancouver Canucks trade centre Brandon Sutter, prospect Kole Lind, and a 4th round pick to the Islanders in exchange for forward prospect Josh Ho-Sang and a 7th round pick. Utica is the problem. Everyone who goes there becomes a bust.
Islanders dont need sutter or lind. Ho sangs character will not be any where near vancouver
Sighing boeser is a priority and I think that giving up the cap and taking a chance on a highly skilled player is worth giving up kole Lind but i do see how hosangs personality could be a problem
I would switch Ho-Sang, for Dal Colle!

This is the worst trade proposal I have ever heard. Lind at this point has more value the HoSang, Canucks have zero reason to make trade that they lose jjst to shed cap. Nucks will have close to 10 mill once they set the roster to 23. When healthy Sutter is a 30 point defensive beast. We have nobody to fill his spot, Gaudette is nowhere near ready, not even close. We Are trying to make the playoffs, and this is counterproductive. Also Lind was not healthy most of last season and was much better the last part of the season. Their is no reason to give up on a kid who put up the same numbers in JR as Cody Glass. Sutter is fully healthy and will be a big boost if he can stay that way, FWIW a 1st was offered for him his 1st season with the Nucks. Sorry for the long response, but my 2 biggest topics that drive me nuts are, we have no cap, and Sutter sucks. He is when healthy based on stats and production, a top 10 3rd line centre who we need and can move next year at the deadline if Madden or Gaudette or ready. Hope your having a great time in Japan. Ho Sang sounds like he has same issues as Goldobin. Though it makes sense as a salary dump. Can we get them to take Eriksson too. Yeah I’m pushing it.
Ho-Sang has attitude problems that prevent him from making a greater impact in the NHL. Lind in my opinion just needs more development and the AHL is sometimes tougher to adapt to than the NHL. Sutter, although overpaid, still brings leadership and is ok for a bottom-6. Wouldn’t do this if I’m Benning

I would not give up on Kole Lind yet but it would allow for a cap savings on Sutter's contract. Sutter is still a useful player when healthy but he is injured a lot. All in all I would say no.
Ho-Sang is a top 6 forward only. IMO he's not a guy that can play up and down the lineup.

Sutter is a bottom 6 center and cap casualty.

I would do it if they swap Ericsson instead of Sutter , drop that dead weight it would be worth it for us and maybe signing Boeser and maybe getting someone at the trade deadline too
No Lou is not moving ho sang unless we get a top 6 talent and we can’t take the extra contract as for pulock, Barzal and towes need new contracts after this Season we also don’t need any help on the bottom six we have a very deep team just need help on the top 6
I'd stay away from attitude problem. The habs got rid of their 'attitude guys" last summer, and the team showed a lot of improvement. It's key to have a non-toxic group of players. Attitude > Talent

Brandon Sutter would be amazing for the Islanders he will be on the ir sitting around wasting their cap space instead of ours I'd trade him just for the 7th and 6 pack of jumbo snickers immediately it.
I would do the trade to open up cap space
Kole Lind by himself is already better than Ho-Sang
