Watch as Seattle Kraken’s Jordan Eberle drops the gloves with Colorado Avalanche’s Logan O’Connor early into their first matchup since Eberle left Andrew Cogliano with a fractured neck after hitting him from behind in the 2022-23 post-season.

Short fight but Eberle got his ass beat rightfully so
Islanders legend jordan eberle

Is this Colorado's media or Seattle's media?
He had it coming.
Answered the bell. Good on Ebs.
Still deserves to be out of the league. That hit gets you kicked out at any other level because it kills. Do that in Juniors, you are lucky to play again… ever.
NHL didn't follow their own rules on it either, as it's a 5 min. major with mandatory investigation minimum. But, expansion teams have to succeed in bettman's league.
Eberle deserves more ass kicking š¤”
People seem to forget that Colorado drew first blood with that McCann incident. I'm pretty sure no one tries to break someone's neck but Makar certainly intended to do what he did to McCann.
Good on OāConnor for standing up for his teammate, and good on Eberle for answering the bell.
It's crazy how these guys have to keep the NHL real.
Too bad O'Conner didn't break Eberle's C3 vertebrae.
Gotta answer the bell!
Interesting seeing two players who donāt usually fight. Glad Ebs answered the bell, but he didnāt really get to do much with the jersey pulled over his head. I donāt consider him or Makar dirty players, but it was fun booing Makar the whole game. Great player/guy though. Glad we decided not to play into it and go after Makar at all. Just good ol harmless booing.
could have ended cogs career, paralyzed him, or even killed him with his hit in the playoffs, and yet he finished that series and is still in the league today. Deserves to get his ass beat any time he plays the avs for the rest of his miserable career.
That's what he deserves for boarding Cogs.
Remember this fight is for Eberle litterly breaking Andrew Cogliano's neck last post season. He knew this was coming.
I listen to this replay on the avalanche radio and the Announcer made it sound like the Seattle player got devastated in the fight but then saw the replay on YouTube and I realized it was exaggerative on the radio side ā think it was good Colorado player stood up for his teammate got hurt in playoffs
Crazy that Makar got suspended for a hit that wasnāt near as bad as Eberleās hit on Cogliano. And Eberle wasnāt suspended. At least OāConnor gave him a 5 minute suspension. Go Avās.
Get a mile high face pounding! Thats for the Russ trade!
Not a dirty player just a dirty play. So he got his come up ins.i would have sent macdermid after him.
Eberly shouldn't even be in the league.
Amazing how the Avs Win but fans still throw them under the bus for a rough game , these game are gona happen !! My issue is Byram and Girard dont play well together . Never have !! Thanx for the Vids lads , truly my firstšof the day
