The trade deadline came and went on March 21, and the Penguins biggest acquisition, Rickard Rakell, made his debut. Meanwhile, the Penguins were looking to extend their win streak to three games against divisional opponent Columbus Blue Jackets. Columbus got the lone goal of the opening period, with Nyquist tallying on the power play. In the 2nd period, the Penguins took the momentum back… all of the momentum. Radim Zohorna, who changed his number to 63 so Rakell could wear his customary 67, got things rolling for Pittsburgh. Jake Guentzel scored just 36 seconds later, giving the Penguins a lead they would not relinquish. This goal was Guentzel’s 30th of the season. Per Penguins PR, with that goal, Jake Guentzel became the only Penguins player besides Sidney Crosby (9) and Evgeni Malkin (6) to score multiple 30-goal seasons since 2005.06. Bryan Rust kept things going with his 21st of the year shortly after that, and Guentzel scored once more by deflecting a Sidney Crosby shot into the cage to finish off the scoring in the middle frame. In the 3rd period, Evgeni Malkin scored a goal with a 5-on-3 advantage. Tristan Jarry made 26 saves.

Great job. Geno's made such a difference on the power play and that goal was sweet. Same for Crosby's play to Guentzel. People might not pay him much attention now but what a player, what a core.
Did not want to lose ZAR, Simon and Clang but I hope Rakell fits in well; maybe gets a chance with Malkin. Good for Z and Rust.

How letang hasent won a norris is beyond me he is consistently putting up 60 + point Seasons every year and has been doing it for well over a decade,I mean 3 cups plus another finals appearance bk 2 bk years aswell and only been up for it once ridiculous in my opinion,love his game so elegant just food for thought???!!!
