I’m alright with that. As long as he can get some top line minutes.

He is going to get more minutes this way and can talk with our management and development team more. This is great news.

Good stuff. At this age, he will develop better playing huge minutes against his peers. He needs ice time.

Best of luck to our young DD!

I have seen a lot of doom and gloom about this (not on this sub) but he just didn’t seem ready to play against men yet. He is only 18 and not every player develops at that rate.
Let’s se what he does in the OHL with some more ice time.

This means he’ll be learning on NHL sized ice right? That seems like an additional benefit.

I’m good with this. The OHL is a more “normal” route and will provide a more trustworthy measuring stick of his development.

Great news for the Sudbury Wolves. They were already a fringe contender with a couple moves needing to be made before the deadline to push the needle.
This news moves the needle even more. Looks for the Wolves to make some changes soon having to move one of their overagers as the OHL only allows 3 per team and the Wolves currently have 4 with Dvorsky. 2 of which are ineligible to be traded as I’m aware they haven’t been with the team long enough and can only be waived.
As a Sudbury Wolves fan, this is very exciting and I’m hoping he can be the catalyst to what should be a great year in the Nickel City.

Says more about his SHL team than his progress if this is the answer after 10 games.
