Absolutely agree that Fleury is a great choice for a backup but I also dont think that the franchise has a durge of goalies to work with. McIntyre has held up his end on long stretches in the AHL. If the team feels Jesper can handle it. Throw him into the low energy situations and then let Jones and whoever wasnt called up back up the Iowa Wild in net. there's quite a few options for the wild to go with their goalies imo
Gus was in fact , the best in the west
Last year his 933 save percentage was second best in the NHL only ulmark was better! But in all his wisdom Evason decided to keep fleur are number one. I guess Gus

If Guerin extends Fluery he should lose his job.
Fleury should not play a game over 32. Gustavsson 50-52. 16 b2b then 14-16 more during season. He gets his 8 wins for the record.
Brossoit looked pretty good with the Knights but the Jets are a significantly worse defensive team so I’d be interested to see how he does this year. I’ve heard some hype around Hofer and him taking Binner’s job but I really don’t know that much about him. Other than that no backup can hold a candle to Fleury so at the very least the Wild should have the most consistent tandem in the division.
