No one should be worried about him. Outside of Hughes and Bratt the forward lines are not contributing like we would expect. I think it’s cool to try and make Nico Timo work but it doesn’t seem like it jives, so I’m optimistic about the new combos.

Those games didn’t matter. SJ was always going to miss the playoffs last year. For the Devils, we are fighting for supremacy and every game matters. He makes a lot of money and is an important part of this team, he can’t just take 12% of the season off.

Put Timo on the right wing ffs

I’m not worried about anything for the first ten games unless they go winless until then. Remember last season when Chicago and Montreal had like .600 points percentage in the first ten games? That shit doesn’t last, bad teams can’t keep it up and the good teams rise to the top.

14 points in 35 total games with NJ this year and last has me worried in general dont give a fuck about the start

If Sharks fans are to be believed Timo’s always been a very streaky player. But I mean historically Bratt is also streaky. Two years ago Lindy sat him multiple games early on for not performing and later on finished with a career high year. Timo will figure it out.

He’s looked disinterested and taken dumb penalties. He’ll be much better soon enough.

Timo has hovered around 60 points for many years at SJ. I hope people are not expecting some elite 80+ point performer. I think there needs to be an expectation reset for Timo. At the same time, I don’t think he’s going to become Jordan Tootoo. He just has to fit and help these guys win.

I’m not worried about anything besides the bad starts. The rest will fall into place with time and chemistry growth.

He better start producing. He’s paid, he’s got term, now what line is he going to play on and produce? They better figure it out because it’s not just this year, he hasn’t seemed like a fit since he got here. Hey, I’m rooting for him, I hope he scores 50. But he needs a spot and they better experiment until they find one. This can’t continue or the pressure will just worse and worse with his contract. The expectation have been raised for the whole team. Let’s see who rises with them.

Honestly, Timo looks just as frustrated. That’s where I think some of his penalties are coming from; frustration.
At one point last game he actually took a hack at the goal net with his stick

The PIMs are my biggest concern honestly. A slow start is OK but don’t also do more dumb shit to hurt our chances to get going.
