If Dvorak comes back, and plays wing, does he play LW or RW? LW he would be good on the LW of the 3rd line with Monahan and Gallagher.
D, likely going to see Xhekaj move up to take Guhle's spot on the 2nd pairing with Kovacevic

Can't see them needing to call someone up just for a 1 away game in Buffalo, but likely for the 3 games away the week later, provided things don't change further.
Of course, that is all contingent on how close Dvo is of course. Maybe they call up Roy and Norlinder for the 3 away games at the end of the month. Leave Armia in the AHL.
Suzuki? He plays for thr Habs? Cause I thought that was David Suzuki the filmaker not the playmaker. Slav is Slav 15 goals 20 assist, what more do you want? I'm back on the tank train after 3 games 😅 Top 5 perhaps, shout out to Pezetta who played hard. Truth be told if we are shaken up after the loss of Dach imagine his teammates and friends on the team. Seriously I hope they shake it off and compete. 😊
There are NO excuses for their horrid play vs the Wild, HOWEVER, remember the team didn't get to practice special teams at all during the pre-season. My main concern so far are Captain Suzuki and Caufield need to lead this team and be way better in games like we had vs Minnesota, and our BIG DMen need to play way tougher in front of our net. As tough as it is to remind fans…Mgmt and coaches told us this was still a season of "development" so expect games like the horrid Wild game…but hopefully fewer than we saw last season. We are not 0-3, we are at 1-1-1, keep calm…it's a LONG season and more changes are coming. I would like to see Ylonen given a good shot with Suzuki-Caulfield (or experienced Pearson). Slaf, who has shown flashes of improved play, needs to play with an experienced Center like Monahan. And keep speed demons Newhook-Anderson together, for now. On D, Harris needs to sit out a gm/two, Matheson needs to not try doing everything himself and simplify , and vets like Savard&Gallagher usually need a few beginning weeks to find their groove. Keep the faith Hab fans!
I know professionals don't tank and want to win… But wouldn't Connor Bedard look good with a CH on his chest right about now? I like so much about this team, but it's going to be rough this season.
Thank you for finally saying savard isnt the answer ….Did anyone c savard on the penalty kill? What did you think? Nobody wants to talk about how bad & slow this guy is! I can live with young guys making mistakes but the message st louis is sending by putting savard on the 1st penalty kill is gonna ruin us for years to come… it was joel armia that stunk up the ice for the last 3 years & finally he where he belongs. Is it gonna take marty 3 years to see savard doesn't have it!!!!!
Special teams has been garbage for years, mainly the powerplay. Whoever is coaching them should just commit seppuku already. Were only 3 games in though so hopefully we can right the ship but idk. We'll see.
