  1. Vlassic has a NMC. He's not going to waive that to go and play for Montreal. No one is. They are the worst team in the league. I'm sure players on Montreal would waive to leave but I doubt there's more than a handful of guys that would waive to play for them. Not this year.

  2. I think Kent Hughes starting his tenure off with ejecting price for pseudo-Alzner would be an interesting choice to say the least. I also think it would be terrible

  3. Love ! to see Mr Price get a Coupe! but won t happen w. Habs UNLESS Gorton// Hughes pull a major rabbit outta the hat! Carey should do a Ray Bourque…!

  4. Vlasic to Habs makes sense. He clearly needs a new challenge. But Price in return, no. Rather they went for Petry or a combo of Drouin and Chiarot. Players Canadiens would want to move. Maybe through in a pick

  5. Great vid Gio! We'll see who the real Sharks are in about two weeks' time — upcoming games vs TBL, @WSH, @FLA, @CAR, @TBL. If they can put together a couple wins, then maybe we can start considering them potential buyers at the trade deadline. Their biggest void is depth scoring and power play production, so I think they would rather risk an asset/draft pick toward that. We can't expect Price to come back and look like the goaltender from last year's playoffs, and when considering dealing both Bordeleau and a high draft pick, that's too risky — especially for a team that already has taken on too many veteran contracts (and dealt picks away). I'd say our dream scenario is for the Stars to tank so that we can trade for Joe Pavelski…no joke!

  6. As a Sharks fan, I hate this idea. Yeah Price would be better than either SJ goalie, but it's not worth a first and a prospect. Better to just buy Vlasic out.

  7. Vlasic’s Dad is on record saying Vlasic will never play in Montreal but who knows.

  8. Vlasic is playing 14min per game right now, he is their 8th Dman. Vlasic not only doesn'T have any value, he is actively hurting the Sharks with his contract. It make perfect sense that the Shark would have to trade a first and Bordeleau just to trade away that horrible contract.

  9. The Sharks went downhill in standings after the Erik Karlsson trade (arguably the best defenceman at the time) . Before the trade, they were close to winning the Cup. For the same reason, it's risky for them to trade for once-a-greatest goalie just because of Cup aspiration this year.

  10. would not do price for vlasic str8 up, while price is much better and would be an upgrade, with kane off the books (at this time) the sharks can likely afford to buy out vlasic and use the savings to attempt to re sign hertl and continue to add depth and get younger. or trade hertl and use the extra cap to add contracts and picks to kick start a rebuild. so makes no sense from a sharks point of view.

  11. It seems Sharks fans don't want this to happen. Mark my words, whether the league likes it or not, Price will get moved. Gorton and Hughes will find a way.

  12. No way I’d make this trade if I was The Sharks. They’re not winning the cup even if they had Price. Don’t trade the future. They finally have a good prospect pool for the first time in a while. These young players will be coming into their prime right when the bad contacts start to expire
