Not even a Raiders fan, but Mark Davis needs to have a moment of reflection where he realizes that the Eagles/49ers/Chiefs/Lions/Dolphins of the world weren’t built by blatant copying, but by having an identity that was unique to them. Ever since the move to Vegas, he hasn’t tried to build a team that plays Vegas Raiders football. He wanted them to play 2002 Oakland Raiders football when he handed the keys to Gruden, and even after Gruden resigned, he thought the next best course of action was to reinvent the Patriot Way. Because that has worked *so well* in places outside of New England.
It won’t happen, but he needs to clean house. Poach some smart people from actual winning organizations not named New England that have a vision and a plan that’ll help the team play Las Vegas Raiders football. Just as an example, Arizona isn’t a very good football team right now, but at least they’re building an identity. They want killers with fire in their guts, and as cheesy as it sounds, it looks like it’s working.

The Raiders are a stain on the community. I wish that garbage organization never came to Vegas. How embarrassing to be associated with the terrible culture they brought to a wonderful city.
