Everyone wants to blame the coach, like Burrows, but sometimes you just have lousy players. Or players who aren't necessarily lousy but not good on the PP. I've seen this on the Islanders forever, and they keep changing PP coaches. Is it never the players' fault?

It’s game 3 and St. Louis is already hiding in shame on the bench. If there is another game like this, which there shouldn’t but it’s Montreal so it will, I want St. Louis to start getting very public with his anger. These guys aren’t rookies anymore. If they want to stay up in the league they better show some effort. If our vets want to get outplayed by the young guys, then start the young guys. I’m still waiting for Matheson and Savard to do something useful. I’m still waiting for Suzuki show a glimmer of offence. A game like this should never happen to an NHL team let alone within the first 5 fucking games of the season
