It is an absolute disaster in Edmonton right now. I respect the fans who are still loyal but I can't remember a time when a team was going through a time as tough as this. Yes buffalo was bad last year but it didn't really get this bad. The way it's going I don't think getting mcdavid or eichel will make them contenders. It will certainly help but they won't automatically win a cup next season with those guys. All those top picks they had the last few years and they still can't make the playoffs even as an 8 seed. This has to be a nightmare for the management. This was probably the best day in perrons life

David Perron is one heck of a player
