  1. I was so happy mitrione won. Roy nelson shouldnt be rewarded for laying his fat ass on his opponent and hoping to win. That's what he's done his entire career

  2. I think Roy Nelson did very well. If this fight would have been without a timer it would have gone in Roy's favor. Note I edited this post.

  3. See, I get far more enjoyment these days out of watching bellator cards. Watching ufc has become a chore.

  4. MMA usually gets it right, Roy was robbed…he was pounding Mit and took
Him down several times… Boring fights like this look better on 2x’s speed..Bellator blows.

  5. U cant just lay on top and do nothing. Good for the sport that Mitrione won. U cant have fighters like fatboy in 2018

  6. From the intro to the commentary to the main event, bellator continues to recruit washed up ufc employees to be relevant, it’s kinda sad.

  7. Close fight.
Anyway, I wish that Roy would really work on his physique.
He's been very successful marketing himself via his skills and "physical look", but can you imagine the wasted potential if he had focused a little on his outer shell?
Granted, physique's don't win fights, but it could have been a different way to spin his career after years of the same "look".
Nelson is still a "tough cookie" and takes a hell of a punch, but with age and "wear and tear" that will soon diminish.
Had Roy Nelson chosen to strictly box, I would compare him to the Native American Heavyweight Joe Hipp.
Hipp a "fringe" contender back in the day could take a good punch, and had a decent punch.
Kind of a plodder, but tough.
If we could somehow go back in time and Roy at his best with his "striking" could have been a very good match up for Hipp in a straight up boxing match which in my humble opinion may have gone either way.

  8. pile of shit decision for big country. took him down and controlled him most of the fight. bellator sucks balls. always be 2nd best because of shit like this

  9. roy nelson with another decision loss. what do you expect if all you do is try to clinch and stall on every fight? this is why he got cut from the ufc.

  10. 2:12 is when he locked in his right toes into the cage like Matt was talking about. I knew something was weird that Matt wasnt hipping out or sweeping him
