  1. "Greakaway"? I had to google it, thought it might be some Canadian hockey slang this American should know about. Apparently not.

  2. All he did was spin on his knees at the puck came to him, lmao. Got to be one of the worst highlights shown of him ever.

  3. i know mcdavid is the best player on the planet right now, but this just isnt it. Dude got lucky, the only impressive thing about it really is being able to keep his balance spinning.

  4. People saying this isn't impressive are thinking it's supposed to be impressive because some some wacky move, no it was because he got knocked down and instantly recognized his position, located the puck, went in and scored without missing a beat. It's not that it was planned that is impressive, it's that it WASN'T planned, but what happened wasn't an accident

  5. He never lost track of the puck….he has excellent pattern recognition skills and he is using visual overlays. Well done and fun to watch.

  6. Here comes the "he got lucky" cheeto fingered comments. That was insane even if it was lucky and scored to top it off.

  7. SportsNet needs to hire a new editor. McDavid belongs on so many highlights but this is him blowing out and the defencemen gifting him a breakaway under no pressure. Spinorama is a fantasy

  8. People losing their minds like it was all by design. Ok, McDavid is great… but the Carrier completely misplayed that puck and McDavid was gifted that chance.

  9. firstly he didnt do a spine-o-rama he tripped over a leg and got spun around, then got a lucky bounce to get the puck and score.

you talk about this goal yet ignore him giving up the puck for 3 goals against the chucks in game 1 and once in game 2, easy to foget that lot isnt it

  10. can't wait til this move is in nhl 25 and doesn't work, but then in nhl 27 it's op and everyone is having a grand old time and reddit is just a friendly gathering of people wishing their fellow chel players well

  11. Who knows what will happen in terms of stats, but he has to be considered one of the most exciting and creative players ever.
