What is your reaction to Reaves’ comments about Perry?
TSN Hockey analyst Dave Poulin joins SC with Jay Onrait to share his reaction to Ryan Reaves’ comments about Corey Perry after the Maple Leafs 4-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Monday.
Reaves can say Perry isn't tough and blah blah blah, but Perry has been in the NHL how long now?? Perry could easily call Reaves a slow, stuck in the mud talentless plug who barely gets any ice time, especially in the playoffs… Reaves really shouldn't be saying anything after the Blackhawks skated circles around the Leafs and dismantled them… Perry also scored a nice goal in that game…
So what…this has been missing from the dressing room in Toronto. Everyone is so robotic in their answers. I love it, chirp everyone who cares…it creates some personality around Leaf land and gets more interest in the NHL in general. Go Leafs!

Corey perry is a outstanding player cup champ future HoF I have mad respect for him even as a flames fan I used to hate playing Anaheim when he was there

Reaves keeps running his mouth against both other players and coaches and goalkeepers as well. Never seen a so called enforcer do this before, they do their talking with their fists. Reaves is no longer one of the league's top tough guys. This is one part of your game that begins to fade when you hit the 30 mark. I think this was a bad signing for Toronto. I don't think Dubas would have made it.

Their careers will end with Perry scoring more goals over age 35 than Reaves had in his entire career, while also putting up as many playoff points as Reaves did over every single regular season — combined.

Nah, Poulin was a wuss, so of course he takes Perry's side. All Perry's trophies won't stop Reeves from making Perry his "female dog"… Perry knows this. 😊
I’m ok with someone showing any sign of life in the leafs dressing room. At this point I don’t even care if he’s right or wrong, we need a guy to bring some attitude once in awhile 🤷🏻♂️
Reaves' comments about a giant Leaf-killer and potential future Hall of Famer is classic – a total Goon that will add zero to Leafs success going forward.
