I saw some people complaining about the 3rd goal… he thought the guy was going right and he came back left with the pass. Just unlucky. I think Joey was one of the reasons we won tonight. There were at least two early goals that he stopped that if he doesn’t the team might not have stayed strong and stayed in it. Yes, there were 4 goals let in tonight but the timing of some of his saves kept the game alive so the boys could score. If he keeps playing like this, he should be spelling Gru pretty regularly. Keep them both fresh and healthy.

Goaltending has been INCREDIBLE so far this season. Small sample size I know, but DAMN if this keeps up I am so fucking confident about this team ❤️❤️❤️

Daccord looked good tonight. I love how active he is in front of the net. I saw a lot of stick pokes and movement to help make a play.

Joey kept this game on the rails early. That was a pretty outstanding two periods.
The book is out on him though, for sure. Carolina was shooting for second chances all night. Part of why Joey had to make so many great saves is that he was caught with aggressive positioning and scrambling back. He still has some fine tuning to do (which is totally fine, just pointing out what I’m seeing).

Dacc looked good last night. Two of the goals I’d blame primarily on the defense hopefully he can keep it up!
