  1. Thanks dk, enjoyed the clips of interviews from Eller and doc. I hope big z gets the call but have a feeling it'll be white. Either way hoping that accari isn't injured and is placed on the wing as well. I haven't seen his typical style of play when he is at center. Who every slides in needs to slide in as center and keep carter on the wing. Praying they don't have carter center the 4th line.

  2. I really like Eller. I hope he takes the lead on this line and gets to where they need to be. When they contribute offensively we'll be on the right track. The question………..when will this happen??

  3. I know we can’t get rid of Big Jeff but come on it’s so obvious how little he contributes right now. Sullivan needs to grow a pair and scratch him

  4. Every year O’Conner has a great camp and preseason then fades as the year progresses. He’s fading again. The bottom 6 needs a threat to score and push the pace like an Evan Rodrigues.

  5. I think the plan going into this season was to first not allow the bottom 6 to be a liability. They got players who are capable of being sound defensively as well as being able to put in some goals, but they'll have to carefully start using that solid play to create more offense. Eventually it will come. I just hope they don't panic and forsake good two-way habits for risky chances just to get on the scoreboard. Baby steps.

  6. Seeing two different views on the Carter situation coming out of DKPS. Seems Taylor is taking the motherly Sullivan stance with him, and Dejan is not as soft and coddling about it. Ha.

  7. BTW: Shea was promoted due to an undisclosed injury to Letang, and was paired with Graves at practice. If he was being looked at as an option for C.R., that's an odd way of doing it.

  8. Does anyone have a clue why Carter is still on the ice? I cant figure it out for the life of me. Does he have pics of Sullivan in a dress or something?

  9. Just FYI, Carter is even in +/- right now and has had several good looks so far this year and some big blocks/saves. Eller, Acciari, Nieto, Harkins, and O’Conner are all -1, and only Eller has more SOG than Carter. If you constantly go into games thinking Carter is horrible, that’s all you’ll see. If you go into it with positivity, you’ll see he’s already doing better than last years performance.

  10. The Great Dane is a solid add for the bottom six. What about bringing up Hinistroza? He seems like a high energy player.

  11. The instant action on Ryan Shea and the waive on Harkins sends a clear message to the entire roster – produce or step aside.

  12. I really dont get this obsession with Jeff Carter. He's actually been one of the best performers in the bottom 6 so far and is certainly playing better this year than last. I dont know if he was injured or uninspired last year or what, but I can easily say this guy is not the problem w. the bottom 6. He isnt slow..he's a very good skater in a big body and I guess people just think he is slow because it looks like he is slow to them.. As to the rest of the bottom 6..THESE are new lines w. new players, and its gonna take them a while. It's not like any of them rack up a lot of points anyway .Also, If they are spending lots of their time with Chad and PO, that doesnt help them at all. Maybe if we had a better 3rd line D, they would be better.

  13. Are these guys no paid professionals?! Have they not played hockey for the greater part of their lives?! Why must they do ANY crawling?! Don’t they know how to play the game already? Haven’t they been practicing with their line mates? So the problem comes down to 3 causes:
    1. Players aren’t good enough
    2. Coaching isn’t good enough
    3. BOTH aren’t good enough.
    DK, what is YOUR choice?
