People saying mcdavid needs the team to be better but no one talking about how mcdavid has been for the most part terrible this year especially defensively. Guess best player in the world just gets a pass and blame the team tho.
McDavid (and #29) both needs to look learn how to play defense, like Jack Eichel had to when he went to Vegas. That's not going to happen this year. But on the bright side, they they have their Awesome Diving and Power Play to fall back on.
Gotta love reporters, win 6-1, the oilers are rolling!, lose the next game, man they have serious issues, and I’m an oilers fan, been for many years, as Carey price said years ago, guys RELAX, not even ten games in, when are they going to start talking rebuild? Leafs score some goals and Matthew’s is going to tear it up, lose to FLA and man it doesn’t look it, everything is off
As good as Connor is he should learn to play as a team and not think he can do everything by himself. So hard to find the linemates to play with because he doesn't make them better players he wants them to help him be a better player.

McDavid is one of the players that haven't turned it on. Ironically, our younger players have been the best players the last 4 games.
