How Ludvig Aberg celebrated after winning the Ryder Cup

On this week’s episode of GOLF’s Subpar, 2-time Ben Hogan Award winner Ludvig Aberg joins former PGA Tour pro Colt Knost and jicky jack legend Drew Stoltz for an exclusive interview. A member of the winning European team at the 2023 Ryder Cup, he talks teaming with Viktor Hovland for a historic foursomes victory over Brooks Koepka and Scottie Scheffler, who was the MVP of their celebrations in Rome and how he plans to make the most of his tour exemption for the 2024 season.

We are excited to announce our newest sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka and their Tito’s Golf Club “Sub-Par Sponsorship”

Now Tito’s Golf Club members can nominate the Sub-Par Golfer in their lives to be sponsored by Tito’s to get cool gear and fresh fits. Yes, even if that golfer is you. Will it make your friend good at golfing? No! Will they look like they’re good at golfing? And maybe by sheer osmosis start to be kind of okay at it? Sure! At the very least you know they have good taste in vodka. Make bad golfing look good while bad golfers get better. Join and nominate at https://titosgolfclub.com

  1. Let’s get a HOLD on Charlie getting a tour start for now. He is good, but as a junior golfer, there are many better players than he is at his age. I have no doubt a tournament would love to have him but he still shoots in the 80s on occasion, at much easier courses than he will play on tour. It would be beneficial to no one to have him play on tour now and go and shoot two rounds in the 80s and killing his confidence. Again, he is a great player and under Tiger, he could not get a better coach/caddie, but let’s take it slow with him and give it at least 3 or 4 more years.

  2. What a talented guy and so humble. Looking forward to his rise on the PGA. Good interview Fellas.

  3. I’m one of the 7/8 girls. But I wasn’t offended 😊. Great interview y’all

I don’t get the chipotle craze. But I agree they should sponsor their own tournament! Maybe take over the Honda Classic!!!!

  4. You two sounded so bitter and a little moany at your Ryder Cup loss. Just deal with it dudes. I had money on the US really walking this one… as I follow the PGA and really know more about them than the European guys, but you cannot not turn up for a day and half and expect to win. NewYork will be different and if Tiger is your captain then WOW!

  5. Tip from a swede to all of you golfers trying to pronounce Åberg: “Å” is the same sound as in “fore”!

  6. Great interview guys. He might be Swedish but after his college years he is at least 1/64 American. Anyhow… either they have amazing media training there in Texas or this kid is a born star. He come across as so honest, relaxed and friendly. Let’s hope he lives up to the expectations we now have.
