Classic comeback cats moment with a catastrophic failure by Lorentz there. Bro tackled our goalie while trying to do too much. The empty netter they scored after that was unavoidable. Still, the team looks solid and I’m loving the hustle Reinhart has while he works for his next big contract. Reinhart 40 goal season incoming!

I’m over the sourdif experience though. What’s the point of this guy playing this guy 4 minutes a night making 0 impact. At least Mackie has the hands to do something.

I watched the hawks avs game earlier today, before watching tonights cats game. Something noticeably absent in the cats game is a willingness to carry the puck in the o-zone. Finally saw E-Rod do it near the end of the 3rd, where he wheeled up and across the blue line, made space and put it on net, leading to Rhino’s 2nd goal. Yeah, we dont have a MacKinnon, but the cats seem so hyper-focused on their dump-and-chase forecheck game, its almost like their puck possession game in the o-zone is a step behind.
Really need a get right game Tuesday. Hoping problems will straighten themselves out with Bennett back
