His ability to maintain puck control during contact has made amazing improvements in the last year or so.. he always had hands and was good at passing, but he was easy to knock off the puck. Not anymore he’s been great last third of last year and this year so far

Dude may never live up to his draft pedigree however he is really locking down that 3C role well and we damn well need someone to lock that down. If thats what he is as a player, thats completely OK.

Mitts has been my most frustrating player the last few seasons. But so where around the 2/3 mark last year he became my favorite Sabre.
You can’t convince me he isn’t the best all around center on this team. We can’t afford to let go walk in FA.
