The Dallas Mavericks will need a strong season from rookie Dereck Lively II as the team’s defensive anchor. Watch a deep dive into what he’s shown through his initial NBA preseason action ahead of a pivotal regular season. At 7-foot-1 with a 7-foot-7 wingspan, he has impressive physical tools. He’s a frequent communicator on the court and has a high motor. Just how ready has he shown to be, though?

Great stuff 👍
Great content.
Not a big fan of the Mavs giving up soft switch too easily especially when we have a shot blocking big in Lively instead of a switchy big from Powell and we still have many small vulnerable players.
Defensive profile(strength/weakness)for rotational players would be a great idea for the video and great video as always.
Great content but all the 29 teams show us some clip of the team and player training . Dallas just show us a lob of him with luka. Show us how they working a little bit. No training camp video nothing. I hope is to say this year we will dominate.
Guys let's get Grant to 1K subs
Great work
Great stuff. Thank you
#MFFL #LETSGOMAVS I have so much faith in #DLive I think after the first 25 games he’s really going to take off and help Luka and Kyrie make the playoffs with ease.
It should be interesting seeing how the rookie does playing significant minutes on a team with real aspirations. Ordinarily I'd be really against the idea of a rookie starting, but given the fact that he's the only possible rim protector on the roster, I can't fault Kidd for trying it. Mavs are one of the hardest teams to predict this season.
Keep it up grant love the content!
What do you think the Mavs ceiling is going to be in the west?
Great breakdown
You can see that lively is learning a lot defensively. That's why O-Max has to develop to, so we can have a wing player with size that can defend and shoot.
