Ya! Leafs need to keep him in the organization. Of course If He himself Will Go towards to progress. And yeah He must shoot as much as He can. All leafs must shoot more often, to score.
robertson will never flourish here while keefe is managing these lines… sad but true.. last year robertson was always trying to skate 100% speed wherever he was going, and looked out of sync with the leafs… but hes changed that this year so far and picks his spots… even tho hes 22… hes basically lost 2 years of development. hes more like a 20 year old… leafs should definitely keep him. and give him at least 40 games with those top guys on the leafs and go from there
I agree, Robertson needs to stay healthy but I think if given a full season with the Leafs he would really find his game and that is to the Leafs and us fans benefit.
Robertson needs to stay and the leafs need to trade for that right shot d man to pair up with reilly and it might mean tj brodie needs to go for salary reasons
Minten will be sent back to Junior. If Robertson stays healthy and continues to produce at a high level in the AHL. He'll get called up for sure. He just needs to learn how to pick his spots, manage the puck and get into the spots where he can fire that canon of a shot he has.
The one thing missing with this Toronto organization is not competing hard enough they don't start off when the puck drops and most times they look lazy well most of them and yeah I would trade for another top 3 defense if there is any available. But let's be real here the Leafs season begins in April lol

Goalies are the issue. Early but weak between the pipes is not going to help.
They get too fancy in the ozone with behind the back passes etc. They need to look at playing simpler and safer.

Robertson isn't as good as those players you mentioned
Robertson didn't look good in the preseason and it's time to trade him. Season is only 4 games in and the Leafs should be focusing on their game. The Leafs defense is weak and sloppy. Domi and Gio are struggling really badly. The worse problem the Leafs have is they have NO HEART! Watching Willy hold up and let the other team get the puck so he doesn't have to go into the corners is shameful. Willy, if your looking for the big money…not the way your playing. You need to be a 200 foot player, not 50 feet. Domi has no edge to him at all. Package Willy, Robertson, and Geo and at least build our defense .
We need to keep Robertson and not give up on him I feel we give up on yonger guys too much and comes to bite us in the ass. The biggest problem on team is our D core fix that.
I dont know about Robertson, to me he seems overhyped, and when he does get to play with leafs, he has not looked overly special or good. I would like to see him moved to a club that is in rebuild mode with other young guys, i think he would perhaps do better in a situation like that. i just dont see it happening with the leafs.

Robertson is overated! He has a shot, but that is it, trade him, he is too small and fragile
I think some teams are going to regret not putting a claim in on Bobby McMann. He seems like a legit option over anyone down there IMO.
Again this year the leafs are carrying players who simply provide little or no value teams simply play around minor minute players like Reaves or last year's ZAR them being on the ice is a 6 minute a night rest for the opposition no scoring threat just wasted ice time. Waive them if they are claimed great but other teams already know they simply aren't ice time

I would only trade him "if" a better opportunity was presented as an offer. Otherwise you keep him, and hope he becomes the player he was seen as. Let him play on the Marlies for a season.
they only lost 2 games in a row and you panic I could see it if it were 10 games in a row then you panic keep Roberton for now injuries will come and he will be needed if he stays healthy himself
It’s Robertson attitude, he just doesn’t seem to care.
On the leafs roster right now the only guys with a NTC or NMC contract are Knies, Minten, Liljegren, Timmins, Samsonov, Gregor, Reaves and Woll. Minten and Knies are not being moved. Woll is the future hopefully in net. Gregor, Reaves and Timmins have little to no value. Liljegren is hopefully a 2nd pairing d-man for the long term. Sammy is needed for this season at least. The only way the leafs can change this roster is at the trade deadline and they will have to have someone on LTIR till the playoffs. Robertson or Holmberg will be playing for Minten soon and if both end up with a spot Gregor will have to go on waivers.
Trading Robertson is useless to the leafs. The only thing you get in return is a AHL player, which doesn't help the leafs. Keep him with the Marlies till you somehow bring him to the leafs lineup to give him that final shot. If you keep him all season with the Marlies and he doesn't get a shot with the leafs you lose a 4th rounder at best. I'd rather keep him in the system and hope he turns things around.
Robertson needs to fix his skating and learn to roll off of checks.
This is one of the few times I'll actually say the leafs seemed to do fine with Nick Robertson development wise.
Covid has happened and he's been injured, that's not on thebl leafs l. They were smart and gave him a couple of games at the end and during the playoffs because it wouldn't burn a year of his elc.
They now have him cookin pretty good in the ahl ATM. Unless he's essential for a deal involving draft picks and him for a good top 4 dman, I'd rather the leafs let him keep getting better in the ahl

No team wants Nick Robertson Andrew – only in Toronto do they have full shows on a potential career journeyman or Robidas Island frequent flyer.

NR is a definite keeper, I agree with you, give him a spot and keep him there, I have seen him play, encourage him to shoot and skate, give him mates that can open space for him to do both and the kid will shine.
