Damn, heās 38ā¦ Iām 43ā¦ never dawned on me.. it should being a husband, father of teenagers and gray beard š You hear these name and itās like a time capsule.
Ek has to be one of the absolute most underrated players in the NHL . This dude is hilariously fun to watch. Heās just a thorn in the side a poisonous thorn!!!
As a Habs fan, it's been truly painful to watch their powerplay for the last 3-5 years. I remember a point in a recent season where they were scoring at a higher rate 5 on 5 than on the PP. It would've been (and apparently still would be after this game's disaster) better to decline the powerplay if such an option existed lol
It says Montreal gave up two powerplay goals in the description, but I think you meant to write shorthanded goals. Just a friendly note, I love your videos, they're the only reason I know what's going on outside of Rangers/Red Wings games
This reminds me of playing NHL 98, I got excited when i was a man down because the opponent stopped defending and I scored all the goals during penalty kill šš
This game had the worst penalty call ever. Wild take a shot from the point, goalie saves it. Erickson Ek in front of the net doesnāt even jab at the puck before a Hab snaps his stick in half, knocks him to the ice, 2 Hab fall on him and both start to pummel him. No real fight, just Wild and refs pulling Habs off Erickson Ek. Both teams get penalized. I love hockey but refs in the NHL suck.
Copying the cadence of TSN anchors makes zero sense when you consider that they are doing the highlights live and trying to sync their speech with the video, hence the slowing down at the end of their sentence. Develop your own style that fits with YouTube, that is less obviously just āthis is how youāre supposed to talk when thereās hockey highlights because the TV said soā
People seem to think it's an overreaction to already be concerned with this team's performance because "It's only 3 games into the season!" as if they just started having problems this season. The powerplay has been absolute trash for years and this year is just a continuation of that. Calling it just pathetic would be a complement with how bad it is. I don't know why it's been so impossible to try literally anything else on the powerplay for so long, but something seriously needs to change. I don't think St. Louis needs to go, but he clearly needs to figure out a new way to run the special teams, because both sides of them are absolute shit.
Iām glad they losing. Little Marty is disrespecting Slavkovsky. Has him on the 3rd line, has him on no power play units (only after dach got injured that Game) and just flat out treating him like garbage. Meanwhile giving anotherfellowlittle guy caufield all the confidence in the world. Itās crazy how a coach can make you or ruin you. This is caufield the same guy who was being mistreated and not played in an optimum spot with the previous coach
NEGATIVE! The absolute WORST PP in NHL history (or the BEST PK in NHL history) is the attached link. I changed the channel during the intermission and re-joined about 3 minutes in. I saw the score was 3-0. I was like, that HAS to be wrong. Bruins started the period on a 2 minute PK. No way they have 3 goals. They scored 3 shorthanded goals in 1:04. That record will NEVER be beaten! Bless the B's! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Worst powerplay? Maybe. Maybe not. I remember a game several years ago between the Habs and the Sens. The Sens took a penalty and got more shots on goal during the penalty than the Habs did. Another Sens penalty resulted in a short handed goal and at least one other good scoring chance. A third Sens penalty, a second short handed goal. After the fourth Sens penalty, as the broadcast was going to commercial, play by play man Jim Hughson said, "And the Sens will get another short handed opportunity when we come back." Savage.
My Stars decided to one-up this last night, allowing 3 shorties – – two of them on the same powerplay!.. Yikes! Maybe just as crazy is they allowed all that damaged but managed to eke it out 2 points in OT.

They are a terrible team. They are the new Phoenix Coyotes. Brutal
never been worse to be a habs fan
Cool that 4 of the top 5 wins leaders all time are from Quebec
I remember watch Fleury in the world juniors, crazy that he's almost at the end of his career

They just let guys walk in and take a shot with all the time in the world while they're on the PP.. twice
Sun par team subpar coach subpar owner. The ghost of the forum
Thanks for putting that goalie wins graphic up for 3/10s of a second

They have no superstars and missed chance passing on Mitchell terrible franchise
Yes, why not criticize a rebuilding team that have said the PP is low priority for this young teams development.
Are you sure youāre from Atlantic Canada?!
Habs were shorthanded for what felt like half the game too
still wild to see how many games that flower has and its still over 100 below brodeur
Same as last season, only worse.

Canes letting 3 shorthanded goals against in Boston is 100% the number 1. worst powerplay of all time
We should just tank. We need to my good players. Our guests prospect pool isn't very impressive. And the goodness is horrendous
I'd like to see Fleury go for 600 wins and get a goal
I bet Montreal would love to have Fleury even at his age.

That you've ever seen? Eck you must be young cause the Boston Bruins scored 3 shorties in 2010 vs Carolina in a 1min 4 secs.
The Seattle Kraken would like a word, sir.

Love to see wild content!
Wow, what 298 games left in the regular season??? Maybe a bit too early to flush the season?
Post about Josh Norris
Love those throwback Sens jerseys
on behalf of habs fans fire burrows, we've been saying this for like 3 years now

The worst thing that could have happened to Slafkovsky was being picked by Montreal
Kirby dachs aunt taught my class and she said Colbey dach in Chicago might get some nhl time which it cool
