  1. Veleno with Sprong and Perron should be the Wings second line for now at least. Sprong was the best player on the ice not named Larkin or Debrincat.

  2. This team is sick & people still don't understand how deep this team is. 5 goals on average is crazy. Last year we were lucky if it was 3 goals in a game.
Seider is getting zero respect this year, especially from Mickey and Ken, which I can partially understand, but the kid is a beast on the PK.
ADB , just wow. Watching the front row brings so much joy.

  3. Actually Chiarot/Holl had the most TOI with the top line tonight, which is why their metrics look so good. But they are playing well in that sheltered role. The defense doesnt actually worry me. I think it will continue to tighten up. Im more concerned about the offense, especially with the 2nd line. I know they get the tough defensive assignments but their xGF/60 is abysmal.

  4. Did you hear Chris Osgood on the postgame show? He actually said (and I had to rewind this twice to make sure of what I heard) “I have no doubt in my mind, Dylan Larkin is the best player in the NHL right now” Uhhhh…maybe pump the brakes a tad!!!!

By the way, for some perspective, last years Wings started 3-0-2. Not saying this team sucks or anything but let’s be a little realistic (kinda like the Lions had a little dose of today) before you start saying absolutely ridiculous things like Chris Osgood

  5. Being a wings fan in the UK I rarely get to watch 2 games of hockey at a reasonable time of day 6pm Saturday and 10pm Sunday, and I am buzzing for this wings team right now, playing the best hockey ive seen in years, and I can see myself staying up and having very little sleep on Tuesday to watch the seattle game, was really looking forward to today's episode and it didn't disappoint, great see you both buzzing and excited for this team like I am

  6. they’ve outplayed every team they’ve faced with 1 loss so i cant see this years team slowing down for anybody in this league you can quote me on this there playing like the 2008-09 team this is serious for this team scoring from 4 lines just hasn’t happened for this team in over 15 years! 🤷‍♂️🤗💪👍

  7. Great content Fellas keep it coming p.s it was satisfying to watch the senator's locker room Interviews Hearing Tkachuk Say the wings were the better team was awesome #LGRW

  8. Ottawa was off their game, they missed the net several times, were too aggressive, they were too focused on trying to intimidate Detroit, and that why they lost. Next game will be less out if hand and I still like Detroit's chances. I said before that game I didn't like ottawa's goaltending, and they're goaltending looked like poo. Ottawa looked stunned that the wings have that much firepower.

  9. After so many years of telling my wife "I'm just tired of watching them lose", this is such a fun start to a season.

  10. Ottawa though they were playing last years Wings team. Lots of dumb penalties after the whistle, allowing this years' dominate power play to bury them. Nice to hear Tkachuk admit as much after the game.

  11. The Wings were much better at limiting chances at 5 on 5 in the last few games. The Senators and Flames had basically none of the odd man rushes that we were giving up in the first few games. However, that seems to have come at the cost of some of the amazing offensive pressure they were putting on teams like New Jersey and Tampa Bay. When they can put both of those things together, this team will be even better.
