Matches up with the eye test. Our offensive zone time is garbage. Our speed looks to be pretty solid. Shooting and shots on and goal/goals could use a bump. Hopefully that comes from getting more time in the O-zone moving forward.

This is a pretty solid tool, thanks for posting it!

One note – I think the defensive strategy seems to be to strengthen up the middle of the ice and be okay with letting the opposition pass the puck and shoot from outside. So, you see more time in our zone but I think the shot quality is low. I don’t think that is a bad thing.

How does the zone time chart at the bottom make any sense? Seems like it’s saying we’re in all zones less than other teams.

  4. Going deeper into the data (not from [NHL.com](https://NHL.com)).

Take with a grain of salt…small data sample is small.

-CBJ has played the 12th toughest schedule

-PP and PK are both around league average.

-PDO is around 100. This means we are both scoring and goaltending at what should be our maintainable level.

-Our Corsi and Scoring Chances For are bottom 1/3 of the league. We are getting out-shot and out-chanced by a lot.

-We lead the league in High Danger Scoring Against…we currently have zero goals allowed in high danger chances (only team in the league).

-Elvis and Spencer are both top 25 in Save % and GAA.
