Game went from a snoozefest to edge-of-my-seat real quick
IT WAS 3-1
GET FUCKED SERGACHEV
Knies owns Tampa
On a serious note though nice to see him and Domi have a very productive night. Hopefully that gets them on a roll.
Knies gets the belt: https://twitter.com/mapleleafs/status/1715915992973422963?s=21
Finally score first: good!
Allow 3 goals on the next 4 shots against: not good!
Fight back from a two-goal deficit in the 3rd: good!
Win in OT: great!
Amazing game from Woll in relief, only reason the boys had a chance to come back.
For every it’s so over there is a we’re so back
#MATTHEW. KNIES.
Brick WOLL
Man how BAD were the Leafs tonight they only got 53 shots on net *yawn*. Would be nice if they tried for a change. Wow Domi once again a no-show. Is Knies actually a bust? Marner so unimpressive. Would be nice if Matthews played like he cared. This season is over.
All hail Woll!
Off of John’s big, thick shaft for the W!!!
Never doubt the leafs being down in Tampa.
#So KNIES he had to it to em twice
#BARS🔥🔥🔥
Soooo Woll is the guy now?

Woll is a Toronto Maple Leaf!!
Also about time Domi woke up.
SAY IT WITH ME BOYS: IT WAS 3-1!!!
Woll, Knies, and Domi with absolutely huge games kudos to them.
Never in doubt…after Woll was put in. Sammy needs to figure things out and make some big saves. But he might get fewer opportunities to do so going forward.
My wife says to me with 16 mins left in the game
“Can we change it? They’re gonna lose anyways”
I made sure to yell a little louder then normal when they won.
Nylander’s price tag increasing with each game.
Domi doubters pretty quiet this evening.
LFG BOYS AND GIRLS!!!!
Leafs heavily outshoot Tampa but Samsonov lets in 3 of 4 – “fire Keefe”.
This sub is wack when they’re losing.
JOSEPH BRICK WOLL
Roll with Woll the next few games, he’s our guy at the moment.
How did Knies not get a star, he carried the third period

Obviously amazing showing by Domi and Knies. So happy to see Domi find himself and Knies is gonna be the real deal. Keep them together, great chemistry already. That first pass was early career Marner-esque.
Way to shut the door by Woll.
Oh, and AM34 had 3 or 4 highlight reel moves in OT alone that just wouldn’t go in.
Leafs own Amalie Arena
Start Woll next game, I’m begging you.
Knies turning up the heat, with Domi coming alive out of nowhere with some pretty impressive passes to set him up.
Woll looked collected and sharp.
Great win in Tampa to send these limp shit-talkers back to their locker-romm to think about us until they meet us again.
It was 3-1 when I was watching with my ass and the couch, then the Leafs scored 3 straight when I watched from the gym. I’m going to be the rock soon
Joseph Woll you are the starter for the Toronto Maple Leafs
Its Wolls net to lose now
Very Knies!

Woll is going to be a stud. I said this last playoffs too, he is going to be a great starter and I’m so happy he’s with us.
Knies and Domi playing well together and creating chemistry ………. Keefe breaking them up next game
If we can tighten up our D in our end and if Woll keeps developing the way he has been, I have high hopes for this season.
**Captain JT deserves more credit and more love**. He has played very well for his entire tenure with the Leafs. Yet nobody talks much about him; Matthews, Marner and Nylander get all the attention. I know he is not flashy, but he gets the job done and always conducts himself with professionalism and integrity.
Nylander is better than Marner. I would rather lose Marner than Nylander. Nylander will ask for more money than Marner.
Knies the Komeback Kid
Just wanted to point out that Hagel was the player trying to cover Domi on BOTH Knies goals and he was the player who gave the puck away in OT for the eventual winner lmao what a bum
So…
I was out of the house today and my wife recorded the game.
Turns out that the guide was messed up and the only channel that showed the Leaf game was Omni. So, I had Hockey Night in Canada in Punjabi waiting for me.
I’ll tell you something about it though. I REALLY wish I spoke Punjabi. I didn’t understand a word of what was spoken, except for team names, player names and a few hockey terms here or there. Even so, the announcers BLEW THE FUCKING DOORS off of the typical BS we get treated to.
It wasn’t really a tough decision to pull Samsonov but if we are gonna criticize Keefe for getting outcoached we gotta give him credit when he’s able to motivative the team and put the right pieces together to win an important game like this. Holmberg was great to my eyes and even though the fourth line only got ~6 Minutes of ice time, winning those minutes to the tune of 80% xGF% really does a lot for the momentum of the team. Another great decision was to ride Matthews and Marner and playing Tavares less. He only played 18:37 tonight and the first line with either Bertuzzi or Nylander each had more 5v5 minutes than Tavares’ line. They can’t do this for the whole season but this game definitely meant a lot to them and getting that huge win sets them in a good mood for the rest of this long road trip and puts them on the right path of playing better hockey here early in the season. At times blendering the lines just looks like desperation but tonight he changed it up to keep the pressure on like Nylander on the first line and played those who were skating hard like the Kampf line in the third. I thought Keefe did well tonight.
