Tyler Myers need to go back to Buffalo
This team is reminding me of last year's team.. slow starts, getting outshot and getting outplayed for majority of the game. This team has a lot to prove.. one or 2 good games don't mean anything. Seems like the team can't be consistent.. when they play good it's great but when they play bad or lose, it's always being out efforted/outclassed and just terrible.
What should the Canucks do with Tyler Myers? And would you change up the defence pairings?

The problem with Myers. He is overpaid. But people thought he could still be a decent 3rd pairing guy. He can't. He is no longer NHL caliber.
No matter how much Myers get, 1 mil or 6 mil, he is an NHLer, not an amateur playing the game. Those glaring repeated mistakes up the middle cannot happen again. Period. He has to learn not to kill his own team with these mistakes. Canucks should sit him out to send him a statement or else, you are gone!
Yeah idk what to do with Myers other than put him into the press box. I watched the game and he was just god awful. Give someone else a well deserved shot.
I guarantee if this was a kid being given his nhl shot- he’d be in the press box. So what gives with Myers being given multiple mistakes

Maybe taking myers off the pk totally after that atrocious effort, I still wish we could get rid of him, but at least this IL be the last year of seeing the chaos
He should be sitting in the pressbox tomorrow. Fly some random kid across the continent, I don't care who. Anyone but that guy deserves to be in the lineup.

Myers has been coughing up pucks every year..it's nothing new. It's just the casual fans are starting to take notice. They like him because the logo on his jersey. But he has been a liability on the ice every year. If you want better stop saying Mcward or jullsen can't replace him. They can and should. Unless you like his penalties and give aways.
Myers must have something on Alvin or JR only explanation I can come up with for him being in the lineup. I think Petey was fine if Myers stays away from him.
He doesn’t have the hockey IQ, got the size and a decent skills! He could’ve been Edler 2.0 just hasn’t worked out
If other players have been sent messages in the past, then Myers will sit at least one game in the press box.
i would have Matt Irwin instead of Myers any day of the week
Idk why but he is my favourite player to watch and one of my favourite players in general. I think if utilized properly and he played to that potential not 1st/2nd pairing he could be a good player, 3rd line D paired with a jj moser or k’andrea miller type player that needs experience could step up to 2nd line during injury. Been a big fan since his draft year. I really wanted the canucks to draft Evan Bouchard they were within striking distance for him and thought he would have worked out great here.

Tyler if you are reading this remember that by Christmas people will be raving how well you are playing. Stay away from negativity . It can be damaging.
Is there any chance that Friedman could slot in next to Hughes, push Hironek down to 2nd paring with Cole and 3rd pairing as Myers and Soucy? Can Friedman handle top pairing minutes?
What's next? Trade (I'd revisit Labanc) or bench. Those gaffes are awful
Myers single-handedly lost that game for the Canucks..this guy should be in the pressbox until traded or contract ends!!!
I'd rather play Hirose of Juulelson and live with their mistakes as they are young players!
Myers sucks for most of his time in Vancouver. Benning continues to pay for his stupid decisions
Myers? I would offer him and a 7th round draft pick just to get rid on him. Nothing in return.
So not only is Myers costing us points but now he's also hurting(literally!) our best player ?? Sit him out on the press box already because that is what he deserves!

I think we should get rid of him, he gave the puck away in his own zone a couple of times on the first shift of the season. Would've been a different game if the Oilers were able to capitalize right away due to his brutal play.
There is no way that kid had their seat belt done up but the time her mom pulled away.
I don't have anything against Myers, and maybe because of how he's built, his mistakes stand out more, but I think Cole McCardell and Juulsen are more trustworthy.
