Wood hit on Puljujarvi – Have your say!

Miles Wood wanted to get a hit in after seeing his team mate take a big hip check a few seconds before this, so he takes it out on Jesse Puljujarvi. Does he jump?

  1. Kris Kross knows the answer…. NHL needs to do something about these leaps. They've lost some star players these playoffs to them.

  2. man there's been so much gaslighting about what elevation is and isn't these past few years. I'm starting to doubt clear and obvious explosions upwards as "just physics of a good hit".

  3. Why does everyone jump off the ice just before they hit the other player nowadays? Because they can get away with it? I don't understand.

  4. When your two feet shorter than the other guy, itโ€™s hard to not jump before contact, in this hit he left his feet after putting on the brakes, more like a love tap and not so much charging, but still two minutes for boarding.

  5. From here on in the playoffs there will be no more suspension just a fine the league needs the money

  6. NHL will do nothing like anything else until Bettman is removed. Officiating is terrible, mainly because of the inconsistency. IMOO

  7. Canes fan here, hit is fine. He had a little bit of upward motion before the hit but didn't come off his feet till after contact. It's fine.
