Tough to take a hit like that! The NHL, media and analysts call hits from "2:30" a blind side hit when the offensive player is looking up play and it is more than wrong, it's a lie. Furthermore, when offensive player is, you know, playing the puck, any head contact at speed is considered intentional and disciplinary action may result. I get it, hard hits can ruin careers. However, in this soft woke world, the onus is also on the offensive player. Well, it should be. Protect yourself at all times. If I were the commissioner I'd hold the player receiving the hit responsible as well where they are negligent in responsibly protecting themselves. Again, superstars careers shortened and concussions in general are bad for the game. If you do the crime, you do the time. But that's how I'd handle it. Hey, we don't think there was intent there but he's hurt so face the music, we gotta protect the game. And we're giving him some discipline too. In tougher sport..rodeo..riding bare back broncs..if you get your hand stuck and get dragged around the arena, you get fined. It not a good place to be but you put your hand in there, you get it out! Makes the sport look bad and boys get hurt so… This hit though, gotta be text book. I'd think twice before cutting in after getting rocked like that. Lol My humble opinion

Looks like a very good hit. His skates do not leave the ice untill after contact and he does not hit with an upward motion.
It's a clean hit
