as a 20+ year Sabres fan ( ugh ) this was solid analysis. Adams has made way more good moves than bad so far. Especially compared to Botterill and Murray who ruined this team before he got in.
this will be the year to finally guage if the Sabres have a future with this core. Allthough we might not compete for the playoffs, we finally have a coach that gives this roster a shot at succeeding offensively like most of the league. If not, well we are screwed

06 Sabres was one of the best teams to not win the cup. Decent offseason for what its worth though. They've been trying to get that first rounder for Risto for years and they finally got it. Great contracts too. Mittelstadt for one is certainly rising.
Kruger did more damage to this team than most who do not watch the Sabre’s recognize. Hall and Eichel, two ELITE players seemingly coveted by the entire NHL, had 2 goals each under Kruger. Good players just stunk. The team had no hope. The difference in play with Dahlin and Middlestadt was immediately obvious when Kruger was fired. They should be noticeably better,
2.5 for these guys is a steal
Neither are difference makers sadly though. Mittlestadt can be a great offensive player and will stay on the sabres. But jokiharu will get traded most likely for some pieces
put it this way, if you got them for these contracts in franchise mode youd be smerking thinking you broke the system. its literally cheaper than ive ever gotten them in the game too
