Good defensive game – Carolina is usually a bogey for us so I’m especially happy to win decisively. What stood out to me was discipline backchecking through the neutral zone, forwards did well shuttling the Canes into the defense. Great play abb!! Very clever goal
That’s a great effort to build on. They’ve shown they can play with these teams, just gotta stay within themselves and not do dumb shit.
Really solid game. Carolina had some shot volume but felt like it was all from the outside. Very little that was high danger and Johansson was sharp with controlling the puck on the outside stuff. That’s the way the team needs to play, hopefully they can bank some points with a relatively softer schedule coming up
