  2. Hagler did not lose to Roberto Duran. Commentator said Hagler redeemed himself from the lose to Roberto Duran.

  3. Not taking anything away from Hagler but Hearns seemed out of shape here.. Hagler was pressuring sure but Hearns usually had more gas..

  4. Hagler was an absolute bull
He will charge thru ur punches n take two punches just to land one on u he an absolute animal in the ring

  5. I think the punch where Hearns broke his right hand is the uppercut at 3:03

You can see immediately after he kind of slips, probably a flash reaction to the pain/sensation. I believe it was was the metacarpals of the ring and pink finger that he broke.

  6. Back In These Day's You Knew You Was Going To Witness Something Special. These Brothers Where Different Know Cowards In The Ring. Boxing Is Not The Same Or The Fighter's. They Was Hungry Warriors. I Will Never In My Life Pay For Another Jermell Charlo Fight. Canelo Wanted A War But He Was Afraid 😨. He Just Talk Smack. He Didn't Even Try.

  7. If Hearns Had A Better Chin And Better Legs Nobody Could've Beat Him. He Could Dish Out Plenty Of Punishment But Couldn't Take It Back Against Maybe One Or Two Fighters In His Era. But He Is One Of The Best Ever. WHAT A GREAT CHAMPION HE WAS . Fun To Watch.

  8. Neither one can box, 1 or2 punches at a time just sluggers off balance with nothing else to offer. They can't win against real complete boxers like leonard, Oscar, alli ,pac man

  9. Both announcers were imagining things. Hagler was never hurt. WTF was Al Michaels saying Hagler was on the verge of being KO'ed? Hagler's legs never wobbled. He took all the shots of Hearns and never wobbled. Never hurt.

  10. Hearns broke his hand in the first round. He didn't even mention it in the post match press conference. Compare that to fighters saying their ring suit wore them out or their toe hurt.

  11. I truly believe that the early 70s to the late 90s will forever be the greatest era of sports. Just look at the talent during those years, especially in the ring.

  12. This was a time when boxers gave the fans their money's worth. These days the top fighters spend more time avoiding the best, and never giving the fans their all.

  13. Doesn't matter how many times you watch it. Still gets you off your seat. The greatest 3 rounds of boxing you will ever see

  14. This feud boiled into the most intense, action packed, memorable three rounds of boxing ever.

  15. I saw this fight live and rewatch it on Youtube every so often and am still excited about it after all these years. RIP Marvin Hagler and long live Thomas Hearns!

  16. Two great warriors. Very few in this life will understand… Tommy just didn't have the legs that night I wonder why… They were both tired. What that first round took its toll on Tommy…

  17. Two all time greats putting on a show like no other most likely the best/most exciting three rounds of boxing in the history of the sport. Marvin knew what he was doing and turned it into a street fight when the bell rang in round one!
