Yikes. This is *some kinda* sucky hockey right here.

  2. AbstractDavinci

Ugh.Despite having the puck in the Rangers end for the majority of the 3rd…we couldn’t do anything substantial. This just proves the massive lack of skill in this team across the board. Sloppy passes, scrambling to keep possession, and a total absence of any game breaking player(s).

For a while I was hoping it was a systems issue – but they just don’t have it – and it’s especially evident when you watch them against teams that do.

I’m not even mad anymore. I’m just sad, man. I want a team that actually has a shot for once.

  3. cjRuckie

Well I’m done for the next game. See y’all Sunday

  4. KaRnAgEGiLL

Darryl is on the farm laughing his ass off

  5. laboufe

There is nothing good to say about this team. We have 0 offensive talent. It is going to be a brutal year.

  6. MonkeySailor

If the Flames are gonna be bad anyway, can they at least play more prospects and give fans something to be hopeful about for the future?

Why do the Flames always insist on being not only a bad team but a boring and old one too.

  7. theginga_khali

How are the vibes in the room now you fucking pussies

  8. SensitivePatient2012

Yeah, Sutter was totally the problem…

  9. Choice_Butterfly_518

The Battle of Alberta Heritage Classic is going to be quite the blockbuster for quality hockey this year 🙄

  10. JayTalk

Watching this team is absolutely goddamn unbearable. Virgins could score more.

  11. Trufflehunter89

We should hire Daryll sutter to whip these bums into shape.

  12. GrafNebelgeist

At least the Oilers have been trash too. This is the only comforting thought right now.

The team is full of complimentary players, but nothing above that. No game breakers. Zero.

  13. Should have just rebuilt after 2022. On the bright side, hockey is a sick sport that I’ll watch even if they’re ass

  14. goatmasterflash

I don’t think there is a valid reason to spend money on or even watch this team other than habit. Gross.

  15. anthonywmzk

When I said “I’m ready to get hurt again” I’m not sure I had this in mind.

  16. marbsarebadredux

No offense, no defense, no goaltending…what even is this team?

  17. eugenejfish

Backs not exactly playing like a captain out there.

  18. Lizard798658866

11 million doesn’t buy you much these days.

Thank you for trying Zadorov, Coleman, Ruzicka, Duehr, Kadri and Hanifin.

Bag skate the rest of them.

  19. Flamez54

If the Department of Players Safety doesn’t give Vesey at least a 1 games suspension for that hit on Rose I am gonna fuking lose it

    Overall what a shitty loss…

  20. Nessie2212

After Zadorov’s interview, and after the last few games, I’m fully convinced this team just absolutely despises each other. It sounds to me like some of our highest paid players think it’s everyone else’s fault but their own that they’re not performing. I’m waiting for us to get our own Hughes/Joshua moment this year.

Get these guys into some group therapy or something Jesus Christ

  21. We might actually be bad enough to get a high draft pick this year!

  22. Bigasspikachu

This team isnt bad but they arent good either

  23. Paulhockey77

Yeah this team has 0 offensive talent

  24. TheMikeSweeney306

At least the Coilers suck ass. My only solace is that they are going to waste a decade of McDavid and Draisaitl and go down as the biggest waste of talent in the history of sports.

  25. HughManchoo

Can we trade everyone except Coleman, Scoranoto, Z and Wolf?

  26. Confused_Astronaut

Alright, I’ve seen enough. This team is going nowhere fast. It’s time to rebuild. Enough is enough.

I don’t know what they’re “practicing” between games, but they’ve shown zero improvement. That’s the most discouraging part.

It’s hard to justify watching this team. Too boring.

  27. noor1717

Please please sell. This ownership is so tone death they will follow this up with a Hanifin extension.

  28. Pun1sher999

I would rather see young gun hockey with lots of young guys that make a mental mistake but play with energy and heart than this shit.

  29. therealmagicpat

When kadri said “the effort is there” I didn’t know he meant from the other team he watches while on the ice turning pucks over.

  30. georgettowne

well, i’m excited to see the wranglers at the dome!

  31. FrisbeeMcRobert

    We stink

Shesterkin was unbelievable and this could’ve been a 3-3 game. But the Dome was dead fucking quiet, I didn’t hear a single “go flames go” chant. Absolutely pathetic atmosphere and on ice product tonight

  32. mrmacpatty

I’m so glad we signed Huberdeau and Kadri long term so we can ice $17 million worth of pylons until almost 2030, would have been awful to just commit to a rebuild so we could at least by half decent after 5 or so years

  33. BFGSkittles

    Can’t blame Sutter now.

    What’s the excuse this time?

  34. Master-Defenestrator

Yikes, completely embarrassing. I don’t know how you look at this start and not begin to draw some conclusions. I’m sure Sutter was a complete ass, but it sure looks like they need a coach that will yell at the them if their shit.

Its the lazy giveaways, complete lack of back checking, and the ametuerish, frustrated antics.

    Rotten

  35. moose0007

Turns out Sutter may have been right: we have no elite talent and our only hope was a grinding style of play and holding the other team to few high danger chances.

  36. Confused_Astronaut

Is there any small chance that some other contending team sees Huberdeau as a good player just playing with a bad team or in a bad system?

He was good before he came here. Maybe a contending team might consider trading for him at the deadline to try and put themselves over the top. Is this likely? Probably not.

But if we can offload him for free, without having to package some picks, that would be nice.

  37. tgrace1911

As an ATLien…I should’ve decided to be a jets fan when I had the chance…
