It happens. I’m not holding my breath for this season, considering we’re in a rebuild. These refs really bungled the game at the very end, and Juice had a singular howler of a goal, which is incredibly uncommon. It is what it is. Fuck the refs. Fuck pettersson. My piss is still hot af. Let’s get em next time boys! We got 7 days to prep!
Man I hope the Preds show back up for Saturday night. I only caught the last period but damn was that hard to watch.
Roughest game of the year. Even though they got blown out vs EDM, they looked better than this 5v5.
I love Forsberg and Josi as much as the rest of you do but they’ve been very disappointing so far to start this season.
Well, the fact we were in that game at all was a bit of a miracle. Vancouver played great defense so I have to give them that, but we didn’t challenge it very much. I blame the 8:15 start time
Josis onetimer on the powerplay doesnt get used anymore. Its either forsberh shot or pass down low and them to the slot
Tough night, but tense close one. Some unlucky bounces on their scores or it would’ve gone to OT or been won outright.
We definitely deserved to lose that one. Sucks that it happened on some bad luck for Juice though.

I am all for Cole Smith in the 4th line role, but no way in hell should he ever be playing with Forsberg at any time

This spooky season the Preds are visited by the Ghost of Hockey Future – The Vancouver Canucks! This scary Western Canadian team entered a rebuild 7 years ago yet still struggle to make the playoffs after pulling out of it way too soon in an effort to increase ticket sales. After long ago abandoning their Cup hopes for the simple goal of making the playoffs, they are a cap strapped team who has been trading off assets just to stay relevant.
Will the Preds learn their lesson or will they once again strive to get swept in the playoffs? Find out in our next issue, “We’re a great team, it’s the refs who are bad!” Saturday at 6pm!
I’m proud of them for (almost) staying out of the box! But that was pretty boring.

Been to three NHL games, would like to enjoy the sport more. One major question about hockey/preds. Is puck control/handling typically this challenging for the team? Plenty of missed oppotunitues tonight from missed opportunities.
