The Edmonton Oilers Are An EMBARRASSMENT!

Talk about the biggest joke in town, the Edmonton Oilers talked a tough game, and have crawled out of the gates as a shell of what they talked about.

  1. Sorry for yelling and screaming but I know you did that much or more all game and all the start of the year…

  2. Don,are you reconsidering going to Heritage Classic? Obviously people might be dumping tickets on e-bay.

  3. Tyson don't apologize for providing the most honest and uncensored form of journalism I've ever seen about our current oilers play. Loved the passion 😊

  4. The defense, in this game and previous games, was a mess, particularly Bouchard. 😩😩😩

  5. Ryan garbage Hopkins , Evan Bouchard, Both goaltenders, Cody Ceci

Blown coverages, soft perimeter play, not take the man, not backchecking, waving sticks at opponents.

Woodcrofts arrogance is also shining through.

  6. Thankfully i did not have to watch this crap lazy team. No apologies needed, you are expressing what we all feel.

  7. After that rant, I just found a whole new appreciation for the time and effort it takes to dedicate half your life to a YouTube Channel and a professional sports team. There are fans then there are FANS. I get it. The only silver lining is that we've been on 8,9 10 game losing streaks before and found a way to recover. We can only hope that Woodcroft, Holland and the entire team can figure this out sooner rather than later.

  8. Harsh but deserved. There is no reason this roster should be underachieving the way it is. We as fans deserve far better.

  9. There only so much management can do. Players have checked out which is concerning. I can live with losing with effort, but this is horrendous and honestly I’ve checked out too, until they start playing like players who are paid millions of dollars, I’m not going to spend a dollar of my money supporting this trash organization

  10. When’s the last time an NHL team made the playoffs or even won a cup with a terrible start of the season like this? Weren’t the Blues Ass until Binnington was added to the roster?

  11. They dismiss the fans when they panic, well many of the fans have played hockey and followed this team forever, we do know something about hockey, we saw they were going in this direction from the start. Who was right, the fans or the dismissive smirking players?

  12. That third period was pretty appaling honestly. The defence fumbled the puck so bad in front of Campbell… Its a mess, it was hard to watch. But at least we are getting a good grasp of the problem, early in the season, and there is time to make the appropriate changes.

  13. Kane and Foegle were really good. Campbell had an amazing first half. That defence though…rough game for the boys. Hey, it happens. They can turn it around.

So I included some stats for the Wild just so you could see a bit of the disparity between teams. The Wild had more shots, hits, penalty minutes, giveaways, takeaways, and blocked shots. Yes, all of that isn't good (penalty minutes, giveaways) but, especially in the third period, they dominated. The Oilers have been outscored 10-1 in the third period this season. This was, in a word, PITIFUL. The D collapsed a LOT. This was a game I'm glad I couldn't watch and only got highlights. For those wondering I'm quite medical and they shut us down early. That's why I don't watch or listen to a lot of games. Hope you enjoy the stats (kind of like saying I hope you enjoy that long slow root canal). Take care all.

  15. Tyson you have more heart than the entire Oilers roster and management. I feel the same way. Why should we idolize and spend our hard earned money to watch garbage. Imagine you paid for a top tier restaurant and majority of the time the food sucked – no one will keep going there… this is what this Oilers team feels like. The players or management don’t care about what the fans have invested into their teams emotionally, financially (buying Merch, tickets, etc). I live in the east coast and often will have to stay up past midnight to watch an Oilers game. Honestly to watch garbage quality late at night and go to sleep in a crabby mood is exhausting. I think I might take a break from my beloved Oil until they figure their stuff out.
