Flaired this John & John even though it doesn’t involve the SNet team directly, but this is an important achievement for our local sports media so I figured it the most appropriate. Mods, feel free to change it if you deem fit.

Congrats Donnie! Guy has been a mainstay in Vancouver sports for basically my whole life (yes, I’m that old 🙂 )
    Well deserved

Is there a physical trophy for this?

Will he keep it top shelf where mum keeps the peanut butter???

I’m five, the West Coast Express is firing on all cylinders, I’m playing NHL 2002 with my brothers, Don Taylor is on TV every morning.

    Life is good.

Well deserved. I’m surprised it took them so long to do so since he’s been such a mainstay and advocate for local sports and telecommunications.

I hope he pulls some bruhahaha shenanigans during the ceremony.

    Living legend.

Well deserved. He came into my store once. Seemed like a good guy. More importantly, he’s a local legend.

Man I miss him doing the highlights on sportsnet so much. I loved his coverage of every sport not just hockey

    Congratulations Donny.

Soundtrack of my Canucks highlights since I was a tiny kid.

I wonder if they pinned the medal on his left Khabi or his right Bulin?
