Towards the end of the second period, Artemi Panarin had his breakaway chance blocked by referee Kelly Sutherland, then the Rangers went down on a 5 on 3, much to the dismay of the fans. Rangers would kill most of the 5 on 3 to end the second.

Are the going to start calling unsportsmanlike penalties every time a player smacks the puck away after they get scored on? No! Because that would be stupid. So why make that call here? Freaking ridiculous, especially after an official blew a scoring opportunity going the ither way just before

Officials have to be somewhere, they are part of the playing surface. Sometimes they are in the way, get over it. Both penalties after were legit calls. Don't do the crime if you cant do the time.

Should have been an "Unsportsmanlike Penalty" on that clumsy referee, then to call two dubious penalties shows how little commonsense these clowns really have. Lack of Hockey IQ fully on display from these zebras, but what else is new, the NHL has some of the worst officials in any pro sport.
