Love that Mo got into position late in that PP and just put it on net. Guy has a solid shot and giving him chances closer to the net like this is a refreshing sight.

So I’ve been seeing McCabe being in places be has no business being in. I’ve been thinking he’s pinching at the worst of times. This goal has opened my eyes. This is something we’re going to see more of. Not the goal per se but the pinching.
This appears to be something this coaching staff is working on. Dropping a defender down low as a 4th forward. Is risky. Really risky. If rather MO than any other defenceman.
Idk just seems like high risk high reward but hanging our goalie out if it fails. Like we know our defense stinks so we will double down on scoring with our shit D.

When Reilly is activated the leafs are a completely different team. He was a BEAST in the playoffs last year.
