The NHL made a huge mistake in missing the throwing the stick call in the Seattle Seahawks vs Detroit Redwings game, we’ll talk all that and more on today’s NHL hockey video.
I wonder what the coach's challenge would have been announced as. "Detroit challenges the Seattle goal because of a penalty that was missed 3 minutes ago on the other end of the ice."
Atleast we didnt beat ourselves, we lost to refs so I cant even be mad about it. Showed alot of fight that game and still came away with a point, we got the jets tonight for sure!
im baffled that coaches can challenge and disallow a goal for a player being offside by 2 millimeters, but are not allowed to challenge a goal for a missed penalty. Ive seen missed trip calls lead immediately into a goal, which is way more impactful than a player having a fraction of a second of a headstart across the blue line. Clown rules

Absolutely a horrendous missed call. What a joke.
So you're saying refs are missing blatant calls 2 weeks into the season?
Looks like off-season referee training went as well as planned.
Where’s the protest by the Detroit coach?
Was he asleep at the wheel?
What a joke. Per usual, it’s #DetroitVsEverybody (the refs)

LOL! How did they miss that?
Thank you! ❤
No. As a referee, this is not easy to see. Our eyes are just not on that guy. The linesmen also cannot call that penalty.
I’m sure he was surprised he got away with it too
Referees see "only" what they want to see !
Kraks was bettman second team 🤷🏼♂️
i was steaming this game. crazy night
Why isn't this reviewable? It led to a Kraken goal, if that is an argument against it
Just like Kraken fans, the players also don't know the rules.
2 goals hanging on one call.
Just awful.
