@joebruin666 go to the sabres website. Gaustad is barely 215. He's a bean pole and a garbage fighter. Everyone knows that. But the sabres were still decimated with injuries so who else was gonna fight lucic? Mccormick was out and joe finley had the flu. At least he answered the bell…regardless, my point is whoever wants to wear a shield can wear one. Especially a guy with a severe eye injury. Also my point was that he drops his shield if given the chance in his fights. Not that hard dude..
@buttkick22 If he was that concerned about more eye injuries, he would be wearing a visor similar to Colin White. The weights listed is draft weight for the most part on team sites. I dont care if he takes it off during fights or not. Ive been around hockey and a fan my whole life. Since back in a time when a guy wearing a visor would almost never fight. If he did, he'd be looked at diff' around the league by players and fans. Now its just common in the pussy league we watch today.
