  1. I love the goals. The other stuff will get better. 👍💙🧡

  2. Keep plugging away Evan. Don't let this fanbase run you out of town. You are a young pro, you will improve.

  3. Evan, when your System is being exploited and your Teammates are being by proxy forced out of position and forced to change their Gaps they can get caught on the wrong sides of pucks reaching with their sticks and getting burned badly….remember Son that a Stick check is NOT best implemented COMING FROM BEHIND THE OPPONENT . So when we see Oilers Forwards getting burned on tip-ins because they are trying to play catch-up stickpoking from behind it IS SYSTEM CAUSALITY….. not the Oilers Players misunderstandng or not executing the System but opposing Coaches outfoxing the System …. This guy has fire in his blood…..I say he is allowed to rip it up to prove his offense outweighs his defense…..let him be himself because I see him developing a mean streak along with bullish Broberg who is also getting Nasty. I see the 2 as a pairing in 1-2 years. Hint — when your blueline is a free-fly zone and there is zero Stand-Up defense projected, well then your Forwards get exposed. When the System allows for a Collapse Defense with a porous blueline the Forwards job description changes a lot more than a D-Mans does. Boosh needs to keep asking for permission to clear his mates out of lanes so he can let his Cannon go @ the oppositions ankles. That shot is so heavy its really an NHL level BOMBA.

  4. If Bouchard can play average defense, we have a top 15 defenseman on our hands. Hopes he turns it around sooner than later

  5. Should have never been a top pairing D man. Should have always been a sheltered PP specialist. Even before the NHL he was terrible at defense. Ekholm can't always be a one man defensive pairing!

  6. I think he needs to keep his feet moving, very lackadaisical movement. I know not everything needs to be rushed but you only have 20-25 minutes of ice time to make a difference so I would expect more pressure and aggression out of his play.

  7. I love that he totally owned the "individual play" – that means he can face his own issues to get better, and it shows he's a good teammate.

  8. Typical growing pains for a great future defenceman……..Paul Coffee used to give away pucks, still made it to the Hall of Fame!
