  1. Mike Gillis is the reason we had such a long rebuild! Why did these guy interview this idiot!

  2. Thank you for doing this broadcast the twins and Luongo were great players what I hated with the fact everybody called the city's the city and sisters that was disrespectful they finally get the respect they deserve

  3. In complete seriousness: Who cares what this man, whose lasting death knell over the decimation of The Canucks franchise STILL rings, a decade later, has to say about ANYTHING. It would be like asking Mark Messier to give his opinion on anything Canucks oriented. No thank you; get out of our sight (or in this case, out of earshot). There was NO WORSE GM – strategically, or personally – in The Canucks' history than this guy. The less I'm aware of his existence still, the better.

Otherwise, keep up the good work!

  4. Apparently MG wanted to rebuild (not a half-ass retool) the franchise in 2014, but the Acqulini's wouldn't allow it… too bad

  5. If Ottawa had a GM like him they would be doing a whole lot better.Mr. Gillis works with the team. They bashed him but he made one of the best draft day moves ever for Vancouver.Bo Horvat,Mike could see the potential there.I really hope that Eugene Melnicks daughters are listening.Ottawa could really use him

  6. Just confirms what I've thought all along….The Aquilinis chose profit over quality of product on the ice and actually competing for a cup. They were happy with playoff revenue and that's it. Hopefully they've changed their ways, they owe it to us fans. Squeaking into the playoffs last seed and competing for a cup are two different things but I feel they were happy with playoffs regardless of if we had a chance or not as long as the money came in.
