Only caught the first period but they played great in it so I kinda thought they’d win. Happy they did and the result.

Not sure how you can take Woll out for Sammy on Saturday, boys are on a run here, have to go with it until you lose

And to think, some people wanted to give the net back to samsonov.

Woll is a hot hand. And his technique is magnificent to watch. Those splits he did on that save was sick and he’s made these crazy upclose multishot saves with his pads and glove in this game like he’s been doing in Washington and against Kucherov in Tampa.

A sick goaltender can cover up the holes in defense. Even when you fall to five defenders of an already porous blue line.

Kind of insane this kid we’ve been watching develop since 2016 is finally paying off.

Other than about 12 minutes in the second period where Dallas scored their goal, I thought the Leafs looked great. Definitely their best game of the season, seems like the team is starting to settle in to theirstructure. Dallas was trying to push hard in the third but to
my eyes they never really looked that dangerous.

    Also, Joseph Woll is HIM.

Its kind of funny… except for the Robertson save, Woll just seemed to… stop the pucks that he should?! But maybe that is a sign of a calm goalie that is in position! Feels weird having a goalie like that.
