Andrew hosts Game Over: Montreal to react to and analyze the Montreal Canadiens’ game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and he’ll be joined by Mitch Brown from @EliteProspectsHockey
Andrew and Mitch start the show by giving credit to the Martin St. Louis and the rest of the Canadiens’ coaching staff, along with the rest of the roster for not losing their cool while the officials seemed to be submarining them, and talked about how that patient approach also followed through on their powerplays, which ultimately evened the game (0:00). Andrew leaned into Mitch’s expertise on prospects, dissecting the improvements we see from Juraj Slafkovsky, looking into Filip Mesar’s development path compared to Jiri Kulich, and breaking down where Joshua Roy will fit in the NHL. (14:40). For the last segment, Andrew and Mitch delve into the statistics for Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, who aren’t getting enough credit for their defensive prowess this season, and a brief foray into the Shane Pinto suspension (30:22), before taking some questions from the live audience (42:20).

Merci enfin a great host and duo
I want Slaf to succeed so much but I just don’t see him panning out, I just genuinely don’t see him being more than a 40-50 point guy & that’s so disappointing as a first overall pick…
Caufield is an OT cheat code!
Mitch is great. Love his insight
longest suspension is Voynov I believe, there wasn't a number but it was multiple seasons
Good one, guys.
Is that a retro kid shirt I spy? Beauty, Andrew!
Good game for the Habs, was so glad to see them not give up and come back to win.
