Sens welcome influx of NCAA talent to the team | TSN Hockey

The Senators are in the midst of their off-week but a few members of the organization will undoubtedly be very tired, as four Ottawa prospects had their season come to an end in Saturday’s five-OT thriller between Minnesota Duluth and North Dakota. Despite the disappointing finish, the Sens are happy to welcome the next wave of players to their team.

  1. Was listening to UND broadcaster Alex Heinnert. His guess was that JBD was leaning 75% towards turning pro. Kleven is just starting his UND career and will likely return to UND. For Sanderson and Pinto, they both are capable of turning pro, but AH's feeling was that they are both enjoying the university experience and it wouldn't be a surprise if neither turned pro this year.

  2. I am glad the senators are last if they are counting on frat boys to bail them out. They should be going full on CHL

  3. come draft time -you pick the best player available —–you can always make trades for what you need if you have too many defencmen for example – a goalie and a pair of d men should get you a top center
