I was running errands today and saw that there’s a new hockey shop in the space where the old Trek bike shop was on Sawmill. Huge space with lots of gear. The person working that I was chatting with told me that today was the first day that they were allowing the public to come in, that the grand opening will be on 11/11. I didn’t know how many local beer leaguers or hockey parents would be on this subreddit – I considered posting on r/columbus but this seems more appropriate. Lots of cool stuff – I have a few things from Pacific Rink and it was cool to shop some of their other stuff in person.

I believe that used to be a hockey store before the bike store. Total Hockey I think. Hope it works out better this time.
Finally! When Total Hockey came in they drove the Hockey Stop out of business, then went bankrupt themselves. Glad there is a store back in the area.
We have some pure hockey out here on the east coast, specifically in Maryland. They’re super nice and have a good selection of roller and ice
Any clue what their skate sharpening fee is? I think the Chillers are up to $8 and you usually have to come back some other time to pick them up.

Such great news. Insane for a youth/adult/NHL hockey market the size that this town has was being served by one relatively small Perani’s for so long
